ABOUT JACOB

Hi, I’m Jacob Bowers — a 14-year-old recurve archer from Stoke-on-Trent. I picked up a bow for the first time when I was about seven, and from that moment I was hooked.

I shoot recurve style and train at Trent Valley Archers, Audco Archers and several trips to the Performance Archery Centre. Every session is about refining my technique, improving my mental focus, and pushing my personal best a little further.

Since 2020 I’ve been shooting regularly, taking on other archers and learning something new at every event. My goal is to look back and say that I tried my best and I had a great time doing it.

Away from the shooting line, I’m just a regular teenager who happens to be obsessed with archery. This site is where I track my journey — the scores, the highlights, and everything in between.
